“ This is for Craig DeSorcy - a comeback for Answer 743 re my question no. 7003369:

Craig -

Thanks for your response; I realized it might not be possible to give me all the details, and you gave me some good sources to follow up on. But, a couple of things:

First, no, this isn't my first effort, just my first big effort with my own product; I've tried affiliate stuff before, with little success, and a PLR e-book I extensively re-wrote which I titled 'Precision Pricing'. But, here's a couple of basic questions re my present effort:

My proposed sales page is at http://steelladies.pulsejets.2ya.com/ - there are no PayPal BUY buttons there yet, but most of the rest is there. A basic question, though: As you can see, this is a 'catalog' page of five different engines, with a big endorsement at the top, a little Q&A section, etc. Now:

1. Is the endorsement at the top too long? It si a LOT bigger than most product endorsement blocks!

2. Is a catalog of different products just silly? Would a shorter page for each engine be a more effective marketing approach (i.e. more of a mini site approach)?

Thanks in advance for ANYTHING you have to offer re this page.

Larry ”

“ I now think I know what I want to happen to get someone from my sales page to the order page:

1. They click on the jet engine they want to buy
2. They are presented with the liability disclaimer to sign (has to be different for someone needing parent or gaurdian to sign!) Submitting this gets them a unique assigned number and leads to the free downloads page (different for each engine model).
3. They download the Operating Manual and the Safety Manual (PDFs), make the final decision to purchase, and click on the BUY button
4. They enter their info on the PayPal purchase page, with their unique number filled in automatically on the 'Comments' block
5. PayPal processes their order, and I get their shipping info and unique number.

OK -- How do I set up the Web pages to make this happen? ”

“ 1.Where could I find a website that allows you to make your own ebook cover and video and cd covers. If it could be free or minimal cost, that would be nice.

2.How do I make my own videos and package them
3. How do I make them into a downloadable product ”

“ Ok i plan to start a blog soon that will be focused on making money, meaning that is what I intend to make from this blog. However the hardest part is to decide what to blog about....I know that I need to find a niche based on my interests and one that is monetizable without too much competition....Here are some of my interests and I am wondering if you all can help me too narrow it down to pick one that seems like it will be a good market to tackle....My interests are Surf internet, read motivational books, play drums, watch anime, watch football, tell jokes, act in plays, learning about technology, learning about computer repairs, learn about IM etc. Things that I am a little good at but I dont consider myself great in is Acting, preaching in church, play drums, computer related stuff. I am actually an ICT Tech in my school but I am now learning about repairing and building pcs and I think Ive learnt quite a lot through watching dvds etc but I have never actually built one as yet..In the school I am the person they come too everytime there is a problem with a computer or projector etc...Can you help me too chose a market to get into that I can make some good money blogging about based on my interests...Thanks!!!! ”

“ Hi Folks

Sorry, this is kind of similar to another question I’ve asked on this site, but I have a site which I spent weeks on from a wordpress template I bought. Now, I think the site looks ok but I have maybe made a mistake of making it cover too many types of fishing.

Anyway, my initial plan was to capture names and then sell stuff via newsletters, but that hasn’t really worked out that well. Are there any suggestions as to what I could do to monetise this site? I’ve tried listing products i.e rods, reels etc as affiliate products, but it is massively time consuming and really fiddly as it seems wordpress isn’t really suited for an e-commerce type site.

Here’s the link: http://www.fishingguild.com

Any suggestions welcome.

Thanks,
Phil

“ I have two questions. The first one is I have a free report that I would like to give away to build a list in a niche. What is the best way to promote the report through a blog or otherwise. My second question is; I have an e-book that I wrote for a niche; what is the best way to promote it to get sales through a blog or otherwise.

Thank You in advance for your answer. ”

“ I current have a blog/twitter/etc that is of a general IM nature. I am about to spend a good part of my time producing products for a specific niche that I have experience in from my previous career. Would I be better offer creating a new blog/twitter/etc for this niche or am I better to use my current one that has built up a reputation and following although not specific to this niche? ”

“ I have read several articles where the experts have said to find a niche that you are passionate about - where you will be able to write convincing articles, etc. I totally agree with this. However, in doing my research, in the areas that I am passionate about, I can't find products that I can do affiliate marketing with or there is too much competition. I seem to be stuck at this point. ”

“ I downsized my shop in 2007, so now I work alone. I am an expert in Hammond Organs and would like to build a membership site in this niche market. My website is fishorgans.com but it hasn't been updated in a while. I also started a blogspot blog at hammondpro.blogspot.com recently to build up some market exposure. I need to be able to get paid for offering telephone/email support to people all over the world. Thinking of a monthly membership fee, or sell a block of time in advance. EA.com has almost the same infrastructure that I had been planning. Any ideas? Thanks! Feeshy ”
